Jul. 10 — Developers of components for drones in Ukraine can receive grants of up to €33,000 ($38,000) under the third stage of the EU4UA Defence Tech program, reported Brave1, state-owned defense-tech cluster.
The project is being implemented with financial support from the European Union. Brave 1 added that Kyiv and the EU are jointly working on localizing component development in Ukraine to reduce logistics time and speed up product refinement.
The program will support prototypes of propellers, high-density battery packs, power electronics and frames for unmanned systems.
Brave1 said that 20 teams will receive grants to develop early-stage prototypes and bring them closer to practical use.
In April, Ukraine launched the second stage of the EU4UA Defence Tech grant program for the development of components for unmanned systems.
