On the morning of March 1, the Russian military shelled Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Oblast. They hit the city three times. The residential building has been damaged, two people have been injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) Oleh Syniehubov.

  • The Regional Emergency Medical Center: a 52-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were injured as a result of the morning shelling in Chuhuiv. The man was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. The boy has minor injuries and received medical assistance.
  • Kharkiv Prosecutor’s Office: according to preliminary information, the occupiers hit Chuhuiv with S-300 long-range surface-to-air missiles.
  • The head of the Zolochiv community Viktor Kovalenko: on March 1, Russian troops shelled the village of Chervona Zoria with mortars. The day before, they attacked the settlement with tanks.
  • Kharkiv RMA: on Feb. 28, Russia shelled Kupiansk. Two residential buildings, a kindergarten, and part of the State Emergency Service premises were damaged. The occupiers shelled the City Park. A civilian man was injured and died.
  • On the morning of Feb. 28, a 60-year-old man was injured by an anti-personnel mine in the village of Volokhiv Yar, Chuhuiv district. He was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound.
  • A residential building has been damaged in Vovchansk.
  • During the past day, the Russian occupiers shelled 22 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast.

Earlier, on Feb. 26, a 73-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds in Vovchansk. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.
