UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct. 8 — Russian forces launched first-person view (FPV) drones at Zolochiv settlement in the Kharkiv oblast, injuring two locals, Viktor Kovalenko, head of Zolochiv military administration, told Gwara Media.
Zolochiv is located about 17,5 kilometers (10 miles) from the frontline in the border area of the Kharkiv oblast. Russian forces launch airstrikes at the settlement every day.
According to Kovalenko, one Russian FPV drone hit a light truck and injured a 33-year-old man’s hands and legs. He was hospitalized. Another 50-year-old local suffered an acute stress reaction and refused hospitalization.
Another Russian attack damaged two civilian cars and destroyed a truck in the village.
Over the past day, Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv and 11 settlements in the region with four missiles, four glide bombs, and 34 drones of different types.
