UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Dec 19 – On the night of December 19, a Russian drone attack in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv damaged the roof of a civilian building, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

The Russian army has been often attacking Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, since the start of the full-scale invasion — the city is close to the border and the frontline. Russians use various weapons like glide bombs, strike drones, and missiles to target civilian and critical infrastructure there. 

Syniehubov also said that on the afternoon of December 18, the Russian shelling damaged one house in Zahryzove village of Borova community. In Petropavlivka of the Vovchansk community, an outbuilding caught fire due to Russian shelling.

On the morning of December 18, the Russian army hit a closed shopping center in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district with a Molniya-1 unmanned aerial vehicle. There were no casualties.
