UKRAINE, Apr. 14 — Customers in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions are temporarily without power because of Russian attacks on objects of energy infrastructure, said the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
In the night on Apr. 14, Russian forces launched 133 drones and a missile. Ukrainian air defence shot down 114 targets, so 12 drones hit eight sites, reported the Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ministry said that energy workers are carrying out repair work across the region 24 hours a day. The Ministry has not announced any power cut schedules.
At the same time, Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant lost its external power supply after one of its power lines was shut down. The plant has switched to diesel generators for power. Energy workers are investigating the cause of the outage.
The Ministry said it is the 13th full-power outage at the plant since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion.
