UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 29 — Russians conducted an airstrike in the Chuhuiv district during an evacuation mission, killing Roman Komarov, a police officer, and injuring his colleague, reported the Kharkiv regional police.

On Jun. 28, Russian forces launched four glide bombs near Kyrylivka village in the Chuhuiv district, east of the Kharkiv oblast. At this time, workers of the Kharkiv regional police were evacuating civilians near the village. The police car was near the attack’s epicenter.

A 25-year-old Roman Komarov died immediately. Also, the attack injured a juvenile prevention sector inspector, and she was hospitalized to an intensive care unit.

Over the last day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 24 settlements in the region from a multiple rocket launcher, and hit them with nine glide bombs and 70 drones of different types.
