UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 9 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv city and 9 settlements of the region, killing three people, injuring 50 more, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region. 

In total, Russian troops used three missiles, one glide bomb and 35 kamikaze drones of different types in their attacks on the region, Syniehubov said. 

Russia attacked Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi, Kyivskyi, and Shevchenskyvskyi districts with missiles and drones, killing a man and a woman, both nearly 60 years old. The attack also injured 44 people, including four children, the governor said. These attacks also damaged two gas stations, two apartment buildings, four cars, an outbuilding, three private houses, an educational facility and a car service station in the city.

The Russian attacks killed a 57-year-old woman in the village of Tsupivka of Derhachi community, located north of Kharkiv. 

In the Kupiansk district, Russian forces injured two men, aged 48 and 56, and a 22-year-old woman. 

Russian attacks also injured two men, aged 42 and 52, in the city of Lozova. Russian shelling also injured a 67-year-old man on a road between the villages of Husynka and Prosianka in the Kindrashivka community.

Medics also assisted a 56-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man who were injured in Russian shelling in the village of Odnorobivka in the Zolochiv community on Jul. 7. They provided aid to a 65-year-old woman who was injured in shelling in the village of Okhrymivka in the Vovchansk community on Jun. 24 as well.

Russian strikes also damaged civilian infrastructure in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, Lozova, and Chuhuiv districts of Kharkiv Oblast.
