UKRAINE, LOZOVA, Jul. 6 — Jul. 7 will be a day of mourning for a 10-year-old Viktoriia Kravchenko, killed after a Russian attack on Lozova, said the Lozova community.

On Jul. 3, Russian forces attacked Lozova in the south of Kharkiv oblast with a drone, injuring six people, including three children.

Viktoriia suffered serious injuries and burns during the Russian attack. Doctors were providing the girl with the necessary medical care, but on Jul. 4, Serhii Zelenskyi, the head of the Lozova community, said that Viktoriia died in the hospital.

The number of casualties in Ukraine has risen by 40% over the past six months compared to the same period of 2025, reported the UN.
