The woman is currently hiding from the investigation.
Kupyansk’s 53-year-old resident, who worked in the occupation administration and processed documents for entrepreneurs, is suspected of collaboration. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported it.
“The investigation established that during the seizure of Kupyansk by the Russian armed forces. Kupyansk local voluntarily took the position of “acting specialist of the licence and permit department of the Temporary Civil Administration of the Kupyansk District” under the occupation administration of the aggressor state,” the statement notes.
The woman accepted applications from private entrepreneurs for further re-issuance of documents following Russian law, and also processed requests from locals who wanted to apply for financial assistance from the Russian Federation.
According to law enforcement, the suspect is hiding from the investigation. The issue of putting her on the wanted list is being decided.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv region, a 53-year-old woman was served a notice of suspicion in absentia on the fact of collaboration (Part 2 Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
