The Russian occupation army shelled at least 13 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast.

State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast:

Two people died due to the shelling of Vovchansk on April 18. Emergency and rescue works in the destroyed residential buildings are underway.

Kharkiv Regional Military Administration: 2 killed, 5 injured in Kharkiv Oblast

  • The enemy continued to shell civilian infrastructure and the civilian population of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk districts on April 18-19.
  • On April 18, the Russians launched an airstrike on Vovchansk. Two residential buildings, farm buildings, and a market were damaged. About 60 trade pavilions caught fire. Two people, aged 68 and 54, were injured.
  • On April 19, the bodies of a 50-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were found in the rubble after a Russian airstrike hit Vovchansk on April 18.
  • At least five residential buildings were damaged in the village of Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk district. An 18-year-old girl was injured and hospitalized in stable condition.
  • A 77-year-old woman was wounded due to shelling in the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk district. She was hospitalized in critical condition.
  • A forest fire broke out in Kutkivka in the Kupiansk district due to shelling.
  • A 60-year-old woman stepped on an anti-personnel mine Petal in the center of Balakliia in the Izium district. She was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.
  • On April 18, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service inspected almost 20 hectares of territory and neutralized 100 explosive objects.
