Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 128 settlements of the Chuhuiv district in Kharkiv Oblast have been under occupation. Currently, infrastructure is being restored in the liberated territories, reports Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA).

About 80% of power lines have been damaged in the Chuhuiv district due to hostilities. Now the network is being restored. Electricity has been supplied to 121 out of 128 settlements.

Works on water and gas supply restoration are underway. 

Bridges are also being repaired. Artemivska dam restoration is being completed, the dam will be open in December.

In some settlements, electricity cannot be supplied due to serious damage caused to the power system and contamination of the territories with explosive objects.

“We should clearly define the terms of demining completion. Our citizens cannot live without electricity for nine months. Therefore, address the Center for Humanitarian Demining with this problem. After carrying out all necessary works, Oblenergo will be able to supply electricity,” said the head of Kharkiv RMA, Oleh Syniehubov, to the representatives of the local government of Chuhuiv district.

In the city of Chuhuiv residents have got ready for winter. Currently, all boiler houses are operating, and firewood for heating points has been collected.
