Electricity will be turned off in Kharkiv for several hours next week.
This was reported by the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov during the United News telethon on Oct. 25.
“Today, electricity cuts have been introduced for several hours in 10 communities in Kharkiv Oblast. There have been no energy cuts in the city of Kharkiv so far, but the condition of our infrastructure forces us to resort to these measures. Starting next week in Kharkiv, we will introduce scheduled power outages. I ask everyone to be ready for it. Power cuts will be introduced in some districts and residential areas and will last for a few hours,” said Syniehubov.
Kharkiv electricity provider “Kharkivoblenergo” and the regional administration will inform the citizens about the energy cuts schedules and the areas affected by these measures later this week.
