KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, Jan 8 – As a result of hostilities in the Kharkiv Oblast, 2,700 consumers were left without electricity, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.

It said that an inspection of four settlements affected by new shelling is underway. According to Ukrenergo, the morning missile attack had no critical consequences for the power system.

On January 8, at about 7:00 a.m., the Russian military launched at least four rocket attacks on Kharkiv, damaging a business and an educational institution. At 10:18 p.m. the day before, the Russian army hit the city with S-300 missiles.

In total, more than 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks. In particular, Vovchansk, Udy, Kozacha Lopan, and others.
