UKRAINE, SLATYNE DISTRICT, Apr 7 — On April 5, the director of a charity fund KHARPP, Ada Wordsworth, donated a Dacia car to the Slatyne district of the Derhachi community in Kharkiv Oblast, reported Viacheslav Zadorenko, the head of Derhachi military administration.

Founded in March 2022, KHARPP fund gathers money to support communities in Kharkiv Oblast that have been most affected by Russia’s all-out war, in and beyond Russian occupation. They repair destroyed homes, replace windows and fix roofs, provide residents with generators, other energy devices, and fuel.

This time, Wordsworth raised money for a car in Сharlbury, a town in England, to help the Slatyne district in the Derhachi community deal with the shortage of transportation options for humanitarian and administrative work.

Derhachi community is located in the northern part of Kharkiv Oblast and, being a neighbor to Russia’s Belgorod region, it is attacked often.

The most recent Russian attack there happened on April 5, when Russia hit Kozacha Lopan and Slatyne village with airstrikes, destroying houses and outbuildings in both.
