KHARKIV OBLAST, Jan 26 — The Russian military shelled a private sector of Kupiansk with mortars. The shelling injured a police officer, the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

The attack also damaged residential buildings and outbuildings in the town. On the same day, the Russian army shelled the village of Kurylivka in the Kupiansk district with artillery. The shelling smashed windows in private houses and damaged roofs and fences.
