KHARKIV OBLAST, JAN 18 — The Russian Federation has launched airstrikes on Fedorivka, Vovchansk, Tabaivka, and Pishchane in the Kharkiv Oblast.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about this in a morning report.

More than 130 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts came under artillery fire.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous directions and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled six Russian attacks near Synkivka.

On January 17, at around 11:30 p.m., the Russian army fired S-300 missiles at Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv Oblast. A woman was killed as a result of the shelling.
