UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 29 — Russian attack on the Kharkiv oblast leaves settlements north of Kharkiv in the Mala Danylivka community and Derhachi city without electricity, local authorities said.

Oleksandr Hololobov, the head of the Mala Danylivka community, said that local services gather information on the scale of the damage and the estimated timeframe for repairing.

Viacheslav Zadorenko, the head of the Derhachi city military administration, reported a complete power outage in the city and nearby settlements. It’s currently unknown how much time the repair works will take as it, once again, depends on the extent of the damage and the risk of the next Russian attacks.

“If power is not restored within a day, we will set up points where people can charge their devices and use the internet,” Zadorenko added.

Derhachi and Mala Danylivka settlements are located in the northern outskirts of Kharkiv, close to each other. At 5:17 p.m., the local Telegram monitoring channel reported a missile in the area. After the attack, Kharkiv also experienced power interruptions.

Previously, on Sep. 28, Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv’s mayor, also reported on Russian attack on an infrastructure object in the Industrialnyi district of the city.
