UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul. 24 — In the afternoon, a Russian kamikaze drone hit a civilian vehicle in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region.

The governor said that the injured driver  died in the ambulance.

For now, local officials have not specified the type of drone that attacked the car.

Earlier, Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv mayor, said about the threat of Russian fiber-optic first-person view (FPV) drones for Kharkiv, which have a flight range of 40 kilometers (25 miles) and can fly deep into the city because of their modernization.

According to Terekhov, the districts of Kharkiv near the ring road in the northern part of the city including the Kyivskyi district, are currently under the highest threat.
