UKRAINE, KHARKIV, May 7 — Russia hit garages in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv with drones, injuring a man aged 49 — who was hospitalized — and a 56-year-old man, reported Kharkiv regional police on May 6. Men got explosive injuries and concussions. The attack damaged two garages and three cars.

Today, Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv oblast, added that 48-year old and 52-year-old women were also injured in attacks on Novobavarskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.

Earlier, Ukraine’s 16 Army Corps wrote that Russia ignored the Kyiv-proposed truce that was to be enforced from 00:00 on May 6. According to the military, since that time, Russia has launched one glide bomb, shelled Ukrainian positions and Ukrainian settlements 165 times, and launched 143 kamikaze drones on Ukraine.

Zelensky accused Russia of violating Ukraine’s truce 1,820 times on May 6 and warned that Kyiv could respond “mirror-like” during Moscow’s Victory Day celebrations.

Ukraine called Russia’s proposed May 8–9 ceasefire “theatrics” aimed at protecting Moscow’s Victory Day parade instead of advancing peace.
