UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 26 — On Aug. 25, Russian forces attacked the city of Izium in southeastern Kharkiv oblast, injuring 14 people, including two children, said Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region. 

Russians injured a 16-year-old girl, while an 11-year-old girl got an acute stress reaction. Medics provide aid for all who were injured in the attack, Synehubov added. 

The attack sparked fires across Izium and  damaged residential buildings and power grids. 

Earlier, according to the Izium military administration, Russian troops attacked the city with a Tornado rocket launcher system. One of the rockets carried cluster munition. 

Over the past day, Russians also carried out airstrikes on 16 settlements in Kharkiv oblast, injuring 9 people, Syniehubov said. 

Russian forces injured a 50-year-old man. A 36-year-old man, and two women, aged 43 and 80, got an acute stress reaction. 

In the village of Vodiane in Kupiansk district, Russians injured three men, aged 45, 54, and 79.

Russian airstrikes also injured a 53-year-old man on the road between the city of Derhachi, located north of Kharkiv, and Zolochiv, a rural settlement in the  northern Kharkiv region. 

In total, Russian troops damaged apartment buildings, houses, gas stations, outbuildings, a hangar, an administrative building, and vehicles across the region with two missiles and 69 kamikaze drones of different types
