Aug. 26 — Overnight, Ukrainian troops launched drone attacks on a major Kstovo oil refinery in Russia and a Wildberries logistics hub in Tambov, reported Fire Point, a Ukrainian defense tech company.  

Kstovo oil refinery is the one of the largest oil-processing  facilities in Russia with a capacity of approximately 17 million metric tons (340,000 barrels) of crude oil per year. According to the Astra, Russian independent Telegram news channel, Ukrainian drones attacked the central part of the refinery – the attack caused a fire.  

This is not the first attack on the Kstovo oil refinery. On May 18, Exilnova+, pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel, reported the drone attack on the facility

At the same time, Yevheniy Pervyshov, the governor of Tambov oblast, confirmed the Ukrainian attack on the region. Pervyshov said that Ukrainian drones completely destroyed the logistics hub of Wildeberris, Russia’s largest online retailer. 

Pervyshov added that the attack sparked fire covering about 100,000 square meters (about 1.1 million square feet), injuring a 19-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman.
