Police records crimes of Russian soldiers: they damaged an observatory in Kharkiv Oblast.
During the occupation, Russian military was stationed on the territory of the research observation in Chuhuiv District. They destroyed equipment and buildings, the Telegram channel of the Kharkiv region police reported.
The occupants occupied the territory of the station for several months. They made trenches and left behind a lot of ammunition and remnants of them.
Investigators together with criminalists under the procedural guidance of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv region inspected the scene. They recorded the consequences of destruction and collected evidence of the Russian military presence on the territory of the institution. The building is completely destroyed and most likely cannot be restored.
The data was introduced into the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Part 1 Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
