UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 23 — The Russian army launched air attacks on Kharkiv and 19 other settlements in the Kharkiv region over the past day, killing a 66-year-old man in Cherkaski Tyshky and injuring 4 people, reported governor Oleh Syniehubov.
Russia attacks the Kharkiv region frequently — it’s adjacent to the state border and close to the frontline. A Russian airstrike on Cherkaski Tyshky also injured a 68-year-old man, damaging a car.
A Russian attack on Zolochiv injured a 25-year-old man. Intensive shelling also damaged multi-apartment residential buildings, farms, three houses, a gas station, a shop, power lines, and a car.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Apr. 22, a Russian FPV drone hit a car in Slatyne of Kharkiv oblast, injuring a 28-year-old man, reported Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office. Prosecutors reported the man got multiple shrapnel injuries — he was hospitalized with his condition being evaluated as moderate. The drone strike also injured a 65-year-old man and damaged two cars.
Healthcare workers also provided medical help to a 53-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, who got injured on Apr. 21 in Vilkhuvatka, and two men, 65 and 61, who got injured on Mar. 29.
Russian drones also hit the Kyivskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts of Kharkiv.
Russian attacks also damaged civilian infrastructure: they damaged a farm, a tractor, and a car in Bohodukhiv of Bohodukhiv district; a multi-apartment building in Petrivka village; a warehouse in Velyka Rohozianka village; a farm and a car in Sinne village; and a gas station and power networks in Hubarivka village.
In the Izium district, Russia damaged a tech service station and power lines in Izium, power lines and a house in Barvinkove, a garage, an outhouse, acar, and four houses in Oleksandrivka village. In the Kharkiv district, Russian troops damaged a house in Ruska Lozova and a multi-apartment building in Kozacha Lopan. In the Chuhuiv district, Russian strikes damaged power lines.
During the past day, the Russian army hit Kharkiv oblast with three glide bombs, four Geran-2 drones, 11 Molniya-drones, four FPV-drones, and 31 drones.
