UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 8 — The 13th National Guard Brigade “Khartia” and the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade liberated over 200 hectares of forest territory to the north of Lyptsi.

Lyptsi is a village in Kharkiv Oblast, six miles from the border and 12 miles from Kharkiv. Russia wants to reoccupy this part of the region for the second time to extend the artillery range of Kharkiv.

“The assaults have continued for five and half months since November 2024. The coordinated work of units gave the opportunity to push the enemy away from Kharkiv and resume the control of tactically and naturally important territory. Russia lost more than 1,500 soldiers, more than 200 weapons, and 175 units of military equipment over this time,” said “Khartia.”
