UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Nov 11 – The Russian army lost 106 troops in the Kharkiv direction over the past day, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.
Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)
Over the past day, the Russian army conducted five airstrikes in the Kharkiv direction, using six glide bombs (KABs) and conducting 44 kamikaze drone strikes. In total, Russian troops fired 363 times at the positions of the Ukrainian army.
Also, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops lost 48 units of weapons and military equipment, including one artillery system, two armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles, one unit of special equipment, 35 unmanned aerial vehicles, 72 shelters for personnel, and one ammunition storage site.
The General Staff reported that over the past day, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Starytsia and Vovchansk. In the Kupiansk direction, there were three Russian attacks.
