UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 29 — In the Kharkiv Oblast, 159 children and their families have already been evacuated from the Vilkhuvatka and Velykyi Burluk communities. Information about another family with two children in these territories is being established.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, told about the current situation in the region on the air of the United News.

The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration does not rule out the possibility of mandatory or forced evacuation from the northern districts of the region — Bohodukhiv and Kharkiv.

Mandatory evacuation is also underway from 57 settlements of the Kupiansk district.

“We continue to analyze the Vovchansk and Kupiansk directions to expand these [evacuation] processes. We have enough places for evacuees both in Kharkiv and outside of it. We have reserved places in neighboring regions,” said Oleh Syniehubov.

As he reported, on March 7, the Kharkiv Regional Defence Council decided to forcefully evacuate children with their parents or guardians in 18 settlements of the Velykyi Burluk and Vilkhuvatka territorial communities.

There are 221 children still living in the Kupiansk community on the right bank of the Oskil River. The mandatory forced evacuation of children from the Kupiansk community will begin after the evacuation of children from the Vilkhuvatka and Velykyi Burluk communities is completed.
