UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar 27 — Kharkiv rescuers received a new all-terrain fire truck thanks to the help of a German firefighter and volunteer from Nuremberg, Nils Thal, reported the press service of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv Oblast.

The SES noted that the vehicle has a four-wheel drive, the necessary firefighting equipment, and can carry 2,400 liters of water and three rescuers. Such features will help the rescuers of Kharkiv district in their work, especially in the countryside.

Nils Thal organized the help from the municipality of Kirchlengern in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The vehicle was delivered to Ukraine in cooperation with the German-Romanian NGO Johanniter Mission Siret and the German NGO Water for Ukraine.

Earlier, volunteer Nils Thal also assisted Ukrainian rescuers by handing them fire and rescue equipment.

As reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the Kharkiv Oblast received a batch of humanitarian aid from Germany for the needs of the suffered and the deoccupied territories of the Oblast.
