The adversary tried to advance on the Kupyansk axis on July 8 in the areas of Berestove, Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region and launched air attacks in the vicinity of three villages on the Kupyansk and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a morning update.

  • At least 13 towns and villages in Kharkiv region came under Russian shelling.

The Russian military shelled Hraniv, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, and Tsehelne with mortars and artillery in the Slobozhanshchyna direction. Russia conducted air strikes in the areas of Milove and Vetarynarne located near the border.
