The 470th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continues to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

  • The adversary carried out 5 missiles and 48 air strikes and fired 70 times from multiple launch rocket systems yesterday. In addition to the destroyed infrastructure, civilians suffered.
  • The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.
  • Russian troops continue to focus their primary efforts on attempts to occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions fully. Within the last day, 30 combat engagements took place.

Slobozhanshchyna axis

The adversary continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. Russian army carried out an air strike in the area of Strilecha in Kharkiv region yesterday. It fired mortar and artillery shells at Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Morokhovets, Ternova, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Pokaliane, Budarky, Zemlianky, Zemlianky, Zarubynka, Chuhunivka and Milove in Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupiansk axis

The adversary conducted air strikes in the Kupyansk sector near Kyslivka. Kamianka, Topoly, Krasne Pershe, Petro-Ivanivka, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kindrashivka, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

Kharkiv RMA

The occupants fired at settlements in Kharkiv, Kupyansk and Chuhuiv districts. They used artillery, mortars, tanks and rocket launchers.

Six private residential buildings, a car and a civilian enterprise were damaged in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. Fires broke out.

Russian army hit an apartment building with a tank at Strilecha village, Kharkiv district. An apartment on the 5th floor was destroyed and a fire broke out.

Around 23:00, the enemy struck the village of Malynivka, Chuhuiv district, with an S-300 air defence system, damaging a civilian enterprise. There were no casualties.

The day before, at about 13:45, a 39-year-old man exploded on a PFM-1 mine near Havrylivka, Chuhuiv district. He was hospitalized with an injury.

Mine danger

Mine clearance works continue in Kharkiv region. The State Emergency Service’s pyrotechnic units discovered and defused 131 explosives yesterday.
