UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 3 — Russian forces renewed their assault operations in Velikyi Burluk in the Kupiansk district, reported Victor Trehubov, spokesperson for the group of forces responsible for Kharkiv oblast, during the ether on the national telethon.
Velykyi Burluk is a settlement located 68 kilometers (~42 miles) northeast of Kharkiv, in the Burluk river valley. Currently, according to DeepState, OSINT war monitoring group, the front line is about 21 kilometres (13 miles) from the settlement.
Trehubov added that active combat clashes had not been observed in this area for a long time. On March 23, he said that Russian forces were accumulating personnel and not using heavy equipment.
According to Trehubov, Russian forces are trying to increase their pressure along the Ukraine’s border, specifically on the city of Vovchansk, toward the villages of Kozacha Lopan and Dehtiarne, as well as in the Kypiansk and Lyman directions.
