UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jun. 10 — In the early morning, Russian forces attacked the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with 26 kamikaze drones, said Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.
Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv’s mayor, said that the attack injured at least five people.
This attack is a continuation of the massive Russian drone attack on Kharkiv, which has been ongoing since yesterday.
Throughout the day, Russian forces attacked the Kyivskyi, Slobidskyi, Osnovianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Novobavarskyi, and Kholodnohirskyi districts of the city. The attack injured 10 people, including a 14-year-old girl, and damaged apartment buildings, cars, railway infrastructure, and storages, reported the Kharkiv regional police.
Also, Syniehubov said that Russians attacked 26 settlements in the Kharkiv region. In total, they used 100 drones of different types to attack Kharkiv and the region.
According to the police, the Russians continued to attack Chuhuiv. They launched drones at the city, damaging civilian business buildings and cars.
In the Chuhuiv district, another Russian drone hit a gas station and damaged cars.
In the Kharkiv district, Russians damaged houses and a car in the Derhachi community, killing one woman and injuring four people. Also, a Russian attack on Vysokyi settlement injured a woman.
In the Bohodukhiv district, Russians attacked the Zolochiv settlement, damaging a car. They also attacked Liutivka village, injuring a man and a woman.
In the Kupiansk district, Russian forces attacked Hrushivka, Borivske, and Hatnie villages.
Russians also attacked Lozova, damaging a house and a car in the city, and Spivakivka and Slabunivka villages in the Izium district.
