UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 12 — Russian forces attacked the Izium district with artillery, injuring a 15-year-old boy. Medics hospitalized him, said the Kharkiv regional police.

Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said that the boy was injured on the road near Ivanchukivka village.

Apart from that, over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and nine settlements in the region with artillery, two missiles, and 55 drones of different types, said the governor.

Also in the Izium district, a Russian drone hit a road in Bakhtyn village, injuring a 60-year-old man who was riding a motorcycle at the time.

In the Kupiansk district, Russian attacks injured two people and damaged shops in Shevchenkove settlement. They also injured a man in the Velykyi Burluk settlement.

In the Kharkiv district, Russians launched a missile at a civilian business in the Pisochyn community, injuring three men.

In the Bohodukhiv district, Russian forces damaged houses, cars, an educational institution, and an apartment building in Skovorodynivka, Zolochiv, and Odnorobivka settlements.

Also, Russians attacked the Saltivskyi district in Kharkiv.
