UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 14 – Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 12 settlements across Kharkiv oblast, injuring 11 civilians, including a child, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of Kharkiv oblast.

Russian airstrikes injured seven people in Solonytsivka, the village northwest of Kharkiv, among them an 11-year-old girl. They also hit Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city in the northeast of the country, with a drone attack on Nemyshlianskyi district. The district was previously targeted on Jul. 8, when a Russian drone struck a five-story apartment building.

Two women, aged 21 and 29 were injured in Russian attacks on the Zolochiv village. A 71-year old man was injured in the city of Izium, which was liberated by Ukrainian forces in the 2022 Kharkiv counteroffensive. Also, Russia airstrikes injured a 50-year-old in the Borivske, Shevchenkove community.

Russian forces launched a drone attack on Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi district. 

Russian attacks also damaged civilian infrastructure in several parts of the region, including Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium and Kharkiv districts.
