UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBALST, Jul. 10 — Over the past day, Russian forces launched one glide bomb, two weapons of unknown type, and 44 kamikaze drones at Kharkiv and 10 settlements of the region, killing one person, injuring 12 more, reported Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.
Russian forces carried out the drone attack on the city of Valky, located in southwest Kharkiv oblast, killing a 50-year-old woman, injuring a 23-year-old woman and two men, aged 27 and 18.
The Russian attack also damaged six houses, an outbuilding, power grids, and five vehicles in the city. The local authorities noted that Valky’s energy infrastructure was the primary goal of the Russian attack.
Syniehubov said that Russian airstrikes injured a 33-year-old and two women, aged 36 and 45, and damaged a post office and three shops in the village of Krasnokutsk of Bohodukhiv district.
In the village of Zolochiv, Russian attacks injured two women, aged 67 and 25, a 28-year-old man, and a 5-month-old girl. They also damaged a vehicle.
Syniehubov reported the Russian attack on the village of Mala Danylivka, located near the outskirts of Kharkiv as well. A 61-year-old man and a woman, whose age authorities didn’t specify, got an acute stress reaction after the attack.
Oleksandr Hololobov, the head of the Mala Danylivka community, said that Russian attacks damaged 10 houses, power grids, and gas pipelines that supply gas to civilian houses.
Russian forces also launched one more attack on a gas station in Kharkiv, Syniehubov reported.
They damaged houses, outbuildings, a tractor, and a greenhouse across the Kharkiv region.
