UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Aug. 19 — Russian forces attacked Balakliia in the Izium district in eastern Kharkiv oblast, injuring a 38-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman, and a nine-year-old boy. The attack also damaged houses at the impact site, said the Kharkiv regional police.
Apart from that, Russians attacked 15 settlements in the Kharkiv oblast with four missiles, five glide bombs, and 51 drones of different types, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region.
In the Izium district, a Russian drone also attacked a farm in Volokhiv Yar village, damaging a storage building and railway infrastructure in the Barvinkove community.
In the Chuhuiv district, Russians attacked the Pechenihy settlement with two Banderol missiles, killing 10 and injuring over 20 people.
In the Kharkiv district, Russian forces injured two people and damaged a civilian car in the Derhachi community, located north of Khrakiv.
Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region damaged a civilian business in the Lozova district, vehicles in the Kupiansk district, and the Bohodukhiv district. They also attacked the Zolochiv community in the Bohodukhiv district, damaging houses, outbuildings, and a car.
