KHARKIV, UKRAINE, Feb 23 — Since February 24, 2022, 332 children suffered in the Kharkiv region due to Russian armed aggression. This is one of the highest numbers in Ukraine, reported the Prosecutor General’s Office.

In total, the Russians affected more than 1,758 children in Ukraine. As of the morning of February 23, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, the Russian army killed 528 children and injured more than 1,230.

The Russian army affected the most children in the following oblasts: Donetsk — 520, Kharkiv — 332, Kherson — 148, Kyiv — 130, Dnipro — 111, Mykolaiv — 101, Zaporizhzhia — 100, Chernihiv — 72, Luhansk — 67.

As reported, the Russian shelling of Kharkiv on January 23 injured nine children and killed one. Russians wounded children aged three to 17 and killed an eight-year-old girl.
