KHARKIV OBLAST, JAN 23 — At about 3:40 a.m. on January 23, the Russian military shelled Balakliia in the Kharkiv Oblast.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said this in the morning report.

The missile attack damaged a two-story building of an educational institution, an administrative building, and two residential buildings.

The missile strike wounded an 88-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman. According to Oleh Syniehubov, the victims have moderate injuries.
