BALAKLIIA, UKRAINE, Apr 29 — In the Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers issued a suspicion to a resident of Balakliia who allegedly worked as the “chief accountant of the education department” during the city’s occupation, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“The collaborator compiled timesheets for employees of the [Russian] occupation department and prepared information on the calculation of wages for employees,” the Prosecutor’s Office said.  

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the woman handed over the prepared documents with her signature to the head of the Russian occupation administration of Balakliia. 

Law enforcers started a pre-trial investigation.

As the spokesman of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vladyslav Abdula reported, the SBU detained two residents of Kharkiv suspected of directing guided bombs (KABs) on the positions of the Ukrainian military. Suspects are now in SBU’s custody and face from 8 years in prison to life imprisonment if convicted

In total, since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 1,000 people in the Kharkiv Oblast have been issued a notice of suspicion in proceedings over treason, collaboration, and dissemination of information about the movement of the Armed Forces.
