UKRAINE, Apr 10 — Vasylisa Stepanenko, a producer of the Oscar-winning documentary film “20 Days in Mariupol,” has been included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list, the magazine announced.
The 30 Under 30 Europe list includes 30 outstanding people under the age of 30 in various fields. This year’s list includes Ukrainian video producer Vasylisa Stepanenko and ten other Ukrainians.
The list aims to show how young entrepreneurs and leaders have the power to change businesses and society.
“I am proud to be on the Forbes Under 30 Europe list among incredible young people who are changing the world for the better! And I am glad to see other Ukrainians in different categories,” commented Vasylisa on her Facebook page.
Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list consists of 10 categories, with 30 people in each category. Ukrainians placed in five of the 10 categories.
Vasylisa Stepanenko produced the documentary “20 Days in Mariupol”, which won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. In 2023, Stepanenko and her team won a Pulitzer, Royal Television Society, and Livingston Awards for a series she produced titled “The Year of War.”
