Day 447 of the Russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. On May 16, the enemy launched a massive attack on Ukraine and employed various missiles.

- The adversary focuses on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka axes. During May 15, 49x combat engagements occurred in the above frontline areas. Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicentre of the fighting.
Slobozhanshchyna axis
The Russians fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Lukyantsi, Hatyshche, Budarky, Nesterne, Kruhle, Zemlyanky, Starytsya in Kharkiv Oblast.
Kupyansk axis
During May 15, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the vicinities of Masyutivka and Novoselivske. Russian forces launched an air strike in the vicinity of Kyslivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Dvorichanske, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Mytrofanivka, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Tabaivka and Berestove of Kharkiv region.
State Emergency Service
Over the past day, on May 15, pyrotechnic crews of the State Emergency Service surveyed 7.7 hectares of territory in Kharkiv, Izium, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts, including 4,700 square meters using mechanized demining machines, as well as about 9.7 km of power lines and 150 meters of gas pipelines. The deminers found and neutralized 99 pieces of enemy mines, explosives and ammunition.
