During 2022-2023, Kharkiv Oblast received $4.4 million in international aid, reported the head of Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, during the briefing.
UN Organizations and programs provided region with more than $2 million in international aid.
In particular, the UN World Food Programme in Ukraine provided the region with $631.6 thousand, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) — with $518.2 thousand, the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine — with $182.3 thousand, and the International Organization for Migration — with $419.3 thousand.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID) gave the Kharkiv region $838 thousand. Another $761 thousand was given by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). International Red Cross Committee provided $660 thousand.
The United Nations Office for Project Services gave Kharkiv Oblast $81.5 thousand of humanitarian aid. Another $154 thousand was allocated by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office of the United Kingdom.
This money has been invested in social projects, restoration, humanitarian aid, etc. Earlier, we reported that Kharkiv became a partner of the USAID project dedicated to community development.
