UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 15 — In the Kupiansk direction, the Russians carried out 26 attacks over the day. Defense forces repelled all Russian army assaults in the areas of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka, Kolisnykivka, Holubivka, Petropavlivka, Pershotravneve, Lozova, and Vyshneve, reported the General Staff.

One of the main goals of the Russian full-scale war is to capture the remainder of occupied Luhansk and Donetsk Oblast; their operations on the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line are dedicated to that. From this section of the frontline, they also aim to push into Kharkiv Oblast and re-occupy Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, important logistics hubs for the region.

In the Kharkiv direction, there were two Russian troop attacks in the area of Tykhe.

On October 14, the commander of the Achilles assault brigade, Yurii Fedorenko, said on Ukrainian TV that in the Kharkiv region, the Russian army is trying to take a bridgehead on the left bank of the Oskil River to expand further offensive actions, including the capture of the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

Yurii Fedorenko said that Russians are using combined attacks with armored vehicles in the area of the Oskil River.
