UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr 28 — On April 27, Russians attacked Ukrainian positions nine times on the Kharkiv and Kupiansk axes, reported the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening speech, said that, after Easter, Russian forces resumed their offensives. Each day of fighting, he added, proves that “Moscow tried to drag out the war and deceive the whole world”.
Zelenskyy also said that since March 11, when the US proposed a full ceasefire, Russia attacked Ukraine with 8,500 air bombs, 200 missiles, and 3,000 Shahed drones.
On April 27, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian forces six times near the Vovchansk city, Krasne Pershe, and Mala Shapkivka villages in Kharkiv direction.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were three attacks near Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove villages. Ukrainian forces stopped the assaults.
On the night of April 28, Russian troops launched 10 attack drones and hit the territory of a dairy farm, killing 22 cows and oxen and injuring 30 cows, said Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast governor.
Tonight, Russians also launched air attacks on Barvinkove city, Vyshche Solone village in Izium district, and Izium city itself. No casualties have been reported.
