UKRAINE, Aug 19 — Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 885 medical institutions have been restored in Ukraine. Of this, 530 hospitals have been fully repaired and 355 have been partially repaired, reported the Government portal. 

Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered the greatest losses in terms of damaged or destroyed healthcare facilities during the full-scale war.

Most medical institutions have been repaired in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv regions. These were medical facilities in the deoccupied territories.

In total, the Russian army has damaged 1,646 medical facilities and destroyed 215 more in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

In addition, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have damaged 198 ambulances, destroyed 261, and captured 125.

Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Liashko said at the Ukrainian Recovery Conference in Germany that Ukraine needs more than $14 billion to rebuild its medical infrastructure within the next ten years.
