More than 1,500 children were affected by the full-scale Russian war against Ukraine.
As of July 19, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 494 children died due to Russia’s armed aggression, and more than 1,060 were injured. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“These numbers are not final. Work is ongoing to establish them in the places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the message reads.
Kharkiv Oblast ranks second among regions regarding the number of victims during a full-scale invasion of children. A total of 297 children were injured in the region. More affected children are recorded in Donetsk – the number is 474.
