The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) handed over another technical assistance of two emergency vehicles to the Kharkiv thermal networks enterprise.
According to Kharkiv Heating Networks, the municipal enterprise has also received 1200 m of pipes with a diameter of 600 mm to replace a section of the main pipeline. The new equipment was received by the employees of the repair department, who work around the clock to eliminate system defects.
“Each machine is equipped with everything needed to repair and maintain heating lines and includes a diesel-gasoline generator, a lubrication station, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic plugs for sealing pipes, and a whole list of necessary equipment for working in extreme conditions. Moreover, the car has a compartment for transporting personnel and household needs with a microwave oven, a kettle, and an air conditioner,” noted the enterprise representatives.
According to Rahuf Mamedov, head of the repair department of Kharkiv Heating Networks enterprise, such vehicles will speed up and facilitate the work of the company’s emergency teams.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance.
Earlier, Nuremberg provided Kharkiv with 40 buses.
