Ukrainian philosopher Volodymyr Yermolenko and literary critic Tetyana Ogarkova launched a French-language podcast about Ukraine.

This was reported by The Village Ukraine, referring to Ogarkova`s Facebook.

The project is called “Ukraine, face à la guerre” (“Ukraine Facing the War”) and tells about the war, Ukrainian culture, history, and experience to the foreign audience.

“It (the podcast) is called “Ukraine, face à la guerre”, and there we talk about Ukraine in French, for a foreign audience. (We talk) About the war, about culture, about history, about our experience. We record even during the blackouts as our equipment works with a power bank. We will definitely talk about our future victory in this podcast as well,” writes Ogarkova.

The episodes are released weekly, the first three are already available for listeners.

“If you don’t know French, never mind, you still can listen to the podcast. There is beautiful music at the beginning and the end playing,” jokes Ogarkova.

The project was created with the support of Ukraine Сrisis Media Center and Ukraine Crisis Media Center -UCMC en français, International Renaissance Foundation.

Earlier, Ukraine was presented at the International Forum “A World for Travel” in Nimes, France.
