UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 15 — The Ukrainian military of the 13th National Guard Brigade “Khartia” recently stopped a convoy of Russian vehicles by blowing up a tank and a paratrooper on anti-tank mines, “Khartia” reported.

Russia started their new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)

The Ukrainian military destroyed Russian equipment, dugouts, and hiding places for Russian drone operators.

On October 14, in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army tried to assault, attempting to advance to Ukrainian positions in small groups. However, the 3rd Brigade of Operational Assignment, named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan, repelled the assault.
