KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, JAN 9 — In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Synkivka, in the Kharkiv Oblast.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the adversary maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

Air strikes were carried out in Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane, Berestove in the Kharkiv Oblast.

About 130 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv Oblasts came under artillery fire.
