During the day, in the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army led the assault near Synkovka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka of Kharkiv Oblast. There, the Ukrainian military fought off seven attacks. General Staff reported on it in their morning briefing.
In the Slobozhanskyi directions, Russians maintain their military presence, conduct diversions, and hold the Ukrainian army in the district, not allowing them to relocate to more threatening directions of the frontline. They also keep increasing mine-explosive barriers along the border in Belgorod Oblast.
More than 100 settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiiv regions were also under Russian artillery fire.
